Shimmery Lids

Hi everyone!
So a few days back I had a party to go to and I decided to do this look. I didn't want my eyes to look too heavy with makeup, as it wasn't a huge party, but at the same time I didn't it to look too plain. So I decided to put on a little bit of color and a little bit of shimmer.

The products that I used for this look:

Eyebrows:
Max Factor Liner in the Shade Brown
Elf Liner in the shade Coffee Brown
I first outlined my eyebrows with the Max Factor pencil and then went on to fill it with the Elf liner.
I sometimes use the brown eye shadow by Estee Lauder to fill it in, but it makes my eyebrows look darker, and since this look is not so heavy, I decided to go for the Elf Liner.
Eyelids:
On the lid - Lucky Penny Super Shimmer by Clinique
On the crease and outer corner - Black Honey by Clinique
Browbone - White Shimmer by Estee Lauder
I first applied Lucky Penny all over the top lid with a eyeshadow brush. Then I applied the Black honey over the crease, going from the outer corner towards the inner with a contour brush, and then I applied the same product on the outer corner in a v- shape. I then used a blending brush to blend the colors so that no harsh lines were visible. Finally, I highlighted my brow bone using the white shimmer.
Mascara:
1st coat - Ulta Twice as Nice in the shade Black Brown
2nd coat - Estee Lauder Turbo Lash All Effects Motion Mascara in the shade Black
I usually apply two coats of two different mascaras because I personally feel it adds up to the volume and makes the lashes look longer and thicker.

Eyeliner:
Top - Ulta Gel Eye Liner in the shade Blackout and
Rimmel London Glam Eyes Professional Liquid Liner in the shade Black
Bottom water line - Ulta Gel Eye Liner in the shade Blackout

I usually line my top lid with a gel eyeliner first and the go over it with a liquid liner because I have hooded eyes, which means when I open my eyes and look straight forward, my top lid is completely hidden and the part where the eyeliner is applied, touches the crease area of the eyelid. This makes my gel eyeliner smudge. So to avoid that I go over the pencil with a liquid liner. Once the liquid dries, it doesn't smudge.
For the bottom liner I only line the water line with a gel eyeliner.

So, there you have it! A perfect, simple yet shimmery look for a day time party.
